Bob Jones, a home builder in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is NAHB's Chairman of the Board. He specializes in land development and the design and construction of single-family luxury homes.
Robert F. Nielsen
First Vice Chairman of the Board
Bob Nielsen, President of Shelter Properties, Inc., from Reno, Nevada is NAHB’s First Vice Chairman of the Board. He owns and operates a building and development company headquartered in Northern Nevada, and has built and developed properties in Washoe, Lyon, and Clark Counties, as well as numerous communities within California.
Barry Rutenberg is NAHB’s Second Vice Chairman of the Board. He is a third-generation builder in Gainesville, Florida who has built over 1,000 homes during a 35-year career, and earned a reputation for quality construction and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Rick Judson, a builder and developer from Charlotte, North Carolina is NAHB’s Third Vice Chairman of the Board. He is owner of Evergreen Development. He has founded and successfully operated several businesses including entities which have developed land for and built numerous single-family, multifamily, and commercial projects.
Joe Robson, a builder and developer from Tulsa, Oklahoma is NAHB's Immediate Past Chairman of the Board. He is the founder and President of The Robson Companies, Inc.; developers of residential communites and commercial properties.
With more than 17 years of lobbying and association experience in Washington, DC, Jerry Howard is NAHB's President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, he was the Senior Staff Vice President of NAHB's Government Affairs Division.

2010 National Area Chairmen
NAHB's National Area Chairmen are elected by the Board of Directors to represent the interests and concerns of members from their area and the interests of Associate members. They work closely with the Senior Officers of the Board, forming a vital communications link between NAHB and the leaders and members in each area as well as Associate members.
